IZIBET Amateur League 2: Dingli Swallows awarded points after protest

Dingli Swallows joined Victoria Hotspurs on top the IZIBET Amateur League 2 after being awarded a 3-0 win by the Protests Board of the Malta FA following the match against Mdina Knights on September 16.

The match had ended in a 1-1 draw.

Dingli had filed a protest over the ineligibility of Daniel Joseph Vella who was included as a substitute on 37 minutes.

The protest was upheld by the board and therefore, Dingli were awarded the three points.

Dingli Swallows and Victoria Hotpsurs lead the way with 9 points, followed by Mdina, Mqabba and Kalkara 6, Siggiewi 4, St. George’s 3, Ghaxaq 1, Ta’ Xbiex and Sta. Venera 0.
