The draws for the Meridianbet FA Trophy Preliminary Round were held at the Centenary Hall on Tuesday.

Meridianbet replaces IZIBET as main sponsor for the FA Trophy as from this season.

Entering this Preliminary Round are the teams from the BOV Challenge League, BOV Gozo Football League First Division and the four semi-finalists of the BOV National Amateur Cup.

However, thirteen teams were awarded a bye to the first round – Zurrieq, Gudja United, Fgura United, Lija Athletic, Ghajnsielem, Qala Saints, Marsa, Pieta’ Hotspurs, winner Attard/Xghajra Tornados, Xewkija Tigers, Xaghra United, winner Kercem Ajax/Qrendi and St. Andrews.
