Hamrun Spartans secured the services of Nigerien twenty three year old forward Kairou Amoustapha.

Amoustapha, who is a Niger international, played for ASN Nigelec in Niger, before moving to MFK Vyskov in Czechia. He had a spell on loan with Loudoun United in the USA and then moved to Cancun FC in Mexico. Last summer, he joined CSKA 1948 in Bulgaria.

The Spartans had earlier announced the signing of Jovan Cadjenovic and Kairou Amoustapha.
