Hamrun Spartans signed Senegalese defender Bacary Sané.

The twenty-two year old central defender played for Diambars in Senegal before a spell with Liepaja in Latvia and another with Dziugas in Lithuania

The Spartans had earlier announced the signing of Jovan Cadjenovic and Kairou Amoustapha.
