IZIBET Amateur League 2: Victoria Hotspurs awarded points after protest

The Malta FA Protests Board awarded Victoria Hotspurs the three points following a protest lodged by the club after the IZIBET Amateur League 2 fixture against St. George’s played on the 13th December 2024.

St. George’s had won the game 2-0.

The Hotspurs claimed that St. George’s fielded a player who was ineligible to play and therefore went against the MFA’s Competition Rules.

These three points put the Hotspurs eight points clear of Mqabba and Dingli Swallows while St. George’s are now fifth behind Kalkara United.
