The Malta Premier League (MPL) announced a new sponsorship agreement with Palumbo Shipyard Limited.

In a statement, the MPL said that a portion of these funds, as from the Closing Round Top & Bottom 6 phase April/May period, will be allocated to expanding the free entrance policy to include children under the age of 12, as agreed upon during a recent board meeting.

This partnership follows previous agreements with VBET, Fastex, and LifeStar, reaffirming the MPL’s commitment to elevating the league’s brand and strengthening its financial position.

“Through these efforts, we aim to provide greater financial stability for our 12 member clubs, enabling them to invest in grassroots development, infrastructure, senior squad improvements, and their social responsibilities.”

“The ultimate aim in raising the overall standard of elite football in Malta,” said the MPL.
