Victoria Hotpsurs maintained their perfect record in the IZIBET Amateur League 2 as they defeated Dingli Swallows 3-0 at the Centenary Stadium on Sunday.
Following a goalless first half, Daniel Farrugia put the Hotspurs ahead on the hour. Kurt Borg doubled the score on 79 minutes and a minute later, Emmanuel Mbong sealed the issue with a third goal.
Victoria Hotspurs lead the way with 42 points, followed by Mqabba on 29, Kalkara 28, St. George’s 27, Dingli 23, Mdina 18, Siggiewi 17, Ghaxaq 14, Ta’ Xbiex 4 and Sta. Venera 1.
