The Malta Football Association released the fixtures for match-day 15 of the IZIBET Amateur League 1.
San Gwann and Vittoriosa Stars lead the way with 35 points, followed by Birzebbuga St. Peter’s on 33, Luqa St. Andrew’s 28, Xghajra Tornados and Attard 27, Qrendi 24 Qormi 21, Kirkop United, Mellieha and Zejtun Corinthians 16, Marsaskala 12, Gharghur and Pembroke Athleta 10, Rabat Ajax 6 and Msida St. Joseph 3.
San Gwann, Vittoriosa, Birzebbuga and Luqa are sure of playing in the Top 6.
Xghajra and Attard need a draw from their final matches against San Gwann and Birzebbuga St. Peter’s respectively while Qrendi need to win against Luqa St. Andrew’s, hoping Xghajra and/or Attard lose in order to force a decider.
Qormi, Kirkop United, Mellieha, Zejtun Corinthians, Gharghur, Pembroke Athleta, Marsaskala, Rabat Ajax and Msida St. Joseph will be taking part in the Play-Out. Four teams will be relegated at the end of the Play-Out.
