Piero Panzanaro names Under-16 squad for UEFA Development Tournament

Malta U16 Coach Piero Panzanaro has named a 20-player squad for the upcoming UEFA U16 Development Tournament that is set to take place over the coming week.

The tournament, which will be held at the Centenary Stadium, Ta’ Qali, will also involve Gibraltar, the Faroe Islands, and Armenia.

Malta will first take on Armenia on Monday 24th February at 13:30hrs, before facing Gibraltar on Wednesday 26th February 10:00hrs. Malta’s final game of the tournament will be against the Faroe Islands on Saturday 1st March, with kick-off at 13:30hrs.

UEFA Development Tournaments are aimed at promoting the developing of players rather than the competition itself, with it acting more as a platform for national associations to give international experience to young players.

The 20-player squad announced by Coach Piero Panzanaro is as follows:
