Champions Victoria Hotspurs extended their perfect record in the IZIBET Amateur League 2 as they defeated Mdina Knights 4-1 at the Centenary Stadium on Friday.

Kurt Borg put the Hotspurs ahead on 22 minutes and although Matthew Borg equalised on 37 minutes, they regained the lead two minutes from the end of the first half. Matthias Said made it 3-1 on the hour with Kurt Borg adding another on 77 minutes.

In another match, a penalty by Isaac Kwesi Dankwah Ansanyi two minutes from the end of the first half handed Siggiewi a narrow win over Ta’ Xbiex.
