Gzira United FC signed Costa Rican twenty six year old central defender Pablo Esteban Fonseca Brenes.

Pablo Fonseca started his career at CS Urugay de Coronado and after a spell with Monmouth Hawks in the USA, he returned to Costa Rica, playing for Santos FC, Cartagines, Escorpiones and AD San Carlos.

The Maroons, who had earlier appointed Clive Mizzi as their new coach, have so far signed Maxuell Samurai, Santiago Martinez and David Xuereb with Jackson Mendoza and Thaylor Aldama moving elsewhere.
