Birkirkara secured the services of twenty six year old forward Jan Busuttil.

A product of Pietà Hotspurs, Busuttil, who is now twenty four years old, made his Premier League debut in season 2018/19. He moved to Floriana in summer 2019 where he spent four years and a half before joining Balzan in January 2024.

Birkirkara had earlier confirmed Luis Cordova, Leandro Lacunza, Manuel Morello, Pablo Gaitan and Donovan Makoma and released Giacomo Volpe, Agustin Sandona, Larsson Coulibaly, Brian Esalo and Gnamien Yipke with Maxuell Samurai moving to Gzira United.
