Tarxien Rainbows FC secured the services of twenty four year old defender Andreas Vella.

A product of Hibernians, Vella moved to Santa Lucia in summer 2020 but joined Floriana in January 2022. He spent the latter part of season 2022/23 on loan with Sirens. Vella moved to Zabbar St. Patrick in summer 2023 but was loaned to Santa Lucia for season 2024/25.

Tarxien, who have confirmed coach Jacques Scerri, had earlier signed goalkeeper Miguel Spiteri and confirmed two players who had formed part of last season’s squad, Miguel D’Alessandro and Sheldon Mizzi.
