Naxxar Lions FC signed eighteen year old midfielder Jayden Fenech from Pembroke Athleta.

Fenech started his career at the Sliema Wanderers nursery before moving to San Gwann. From there, he had a loan spell with Pembroke Athleta before moving to the latter in 2022.

The Lions, who have confirmed George Vella as their coach, had earlier signed Christian Gauci.
