Zabbar St. Patrick secured the services of Brazilian twenty five year old forward Samuel Gomes da Mata.

A product of Goiás EC, Samuel Gomes had spells on loan at Londrina EC and AA Aparecidense before moving to FC Cascavel. In summer 2022, he moved to Malta to join Gudja United, moving to Sliema Wanderers the following season.

Zabbar, who have confirmed Aniello Parisi as their coach, had earlier signed Ryan Scicluna, Zean Leonardi, Nicholas James Agius and Haroun Tchaouna.
