Floriana FC signed Albanian nineteen year old central defender Aljon Damini and Portuguese twenty seven year old winger Francisco José Coelho Teixeira.

A product of KF Teuta, Damini had moved to Portugal in January to join Varzim. On the other hand, Chico Teixeira started his career at Oriental Lisbon and then joined B SAD before moving to Penafiel.

The Greens, who had earlier appointed Daniel Portela as their new coach, had signed goalkeeper Guilherme Cioletti, Charles M’Mombwa, Mustapha Jah, Lucas Lopez, Todor Glisovic, Federico Varela, Iago Mendonca, Rui Areias and Mattia Veselji while goalkeeper Christoffer Mafoumbi, Franklin Sasere, Guy Serge Yameogo, Matias Garcia, Oualid El Hasni, Jork Becerra, Alexandros Kouros, Gabriel Sotomayor, Fernandinho and Elvis Mashike moved elsewhere.
