The Malta Football Association announces that Jurgen Pisani and Santa Lucia FC have been acquitted of all charges following proceedings before the Control, Disciplinary and Ethics Committee – Integrity Panel.

These proceedings were initiated in April 2025 by the Malta FA in relation to the match between Santa Lucia FC and Birkirkara FC on 3 May 2024. The charges concerned alleged breaches of Section IX of the Malta FA Regulations on Bribery and Betting in Football Matches.

After careful consideration of the evidence presented, the Integrity Panel determined that the charges were not proven.

Accordingly, Mr Pisani’s temporary suspension has been lifted.
