The league phase draw of the 2025/26 UEFA Conference League will be held on Friday 29 August.
The league phase draw of the UEFA Europa League and UEFA Conference League will be combined into one special show for the first time – live from the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco.
The newly combined UEFA Europa League and UEFA Conference League show will provide a brighter spotlight for both draws, creating a celebration of the teams aspiring to lift two of the game’s most beautiful European trophies.
The two draws will be made in a fully digital format working with the same digital technology already used last year to instantly draw opponents, allowing for a smooth, efficient and speedy draw process.
The 36 teams will be divided into six pots of six teams each based on their UEFA club coefficient. The draw will be entirely computer generated with all 36 teams’ opponents and home/away locations drawn at once, but revealed pot by pot. Each team will face one opponent from each of the six pots, with one home and one away match from each pot pair of Pots 1 and 2, Pots 3 and 4, and Pots 5 and 6. Teams cannot face opponents from their own association, and can only be drawn against a maximum of two sides from the same association
Along with Hamrun Spartans, Crystal Palace, Drita, KuPS, Rayo Vallecano, Samsunspor, Shelbourne, Shkëndija, Sigma Olomouc and Universitatea Craiova will make their debut appearances in a major UEFA competition group or league phase.
The Spartans will be in Pot 6 along with BK Hacken, Lausanne Sport, Universitatea Craiova, Noah and Shelbourne.
