Women’s futsal in Malta is set for another exciting chapter as the Enemed Women’s Futsal League 2025/26 kicks off with a season full of promise and energy. This marks the third official season of the competition, with six teams taking part: Luxol Futsal Argus, Parr Mela Rockets, St Andrews, St Georges, Swieqi United FC LECO7, and Zero Sei.
The competition remains under the sponsorship of Enemed, with the same three prestigious tournaments as last year: the League, the Trophy, and the Super Cup. Matches will be hosted at the Mediterranean College of Sports and De La Salle, and will be played weekly on Tuesdays and Wednesdays in the evening.
As an added highlight for fans, matches will once again be streamed live on Malta Futsal’s official YouTube channel for those unable to attend. However, we strongly encourage supporters to come to the venues and experience the wonderful atmosphere and passion of the games in person.
Last season was one to remember. Lija, now rebranded as Luxol, were crowned league champions; Swieqi United lifted the Super Cup; and Zero Sei claimed the Trophy. This season also brings rebranding changes: Iklin are now St Andrews, while Santa Margherita have become St Georges.
Women’s futsal in Malta has been growing steadily, becoming an integral part of the national sporting calendar. The 2025/26 campaign promises to be one of the most competitive yet, with each team aiming to make history and deliver unforgettable moments for the fans.
