Kirkop United, Mqabba and Pembroke Athleta were the last three teams to make it to the quarter-finals of the BOV Amateur Cup as the last three matches from the Round of 16 were played on Sunday.
At the Centenary Stadium, Kirkop came back from two goals down to beat Attard 3-2 after extra-time.
Nicholas Schembri handed Attard a two goal lead as he scored on 37 and 66 minutes but ten minutes from time, Seydna Drissa pulled one back, notching the equaliser three minutes in added time. The game went into extra time and Giorgio Bellia made it 3-2 on 96 minutes.
A brace by Andres Tenorio handed Mqabba a 2-1 win over Senglea Athletic at the Sirens Stadium.
Tenorio scored on 10 and 12 minutes with Timmy Thomas reducing the gap four minutes in added time.
In another match at the Sirens Stadium, Weverton Gomes notched a hat trick in a 4-0 win over Gharghur.
Gomes scored on 18 and 37 minutes with Xylon Marmara making it 3-0 six minutes in the second half. Eight minutes later, Gomes added another.
