Eleven Malta Premier players suspended

Eleven players from the YoHealth Malta Premier were suspended by the Malta FA Discipliary Commissioner on Tuesday.

Kurt Zammit (Birkirkara), Clayton Failla and David Xuereb (Gzira), Dexter Xuereb (Hibs), Christoffer Mafoumbi (Marsaxlokk), Chisom Sunday Okereke and Matthew Bolanos (Mosta), Miguel Baggio (Sliema), Kwasi Donsu (Tarxien) and Zean Leonardi (Zabbar) were banned for one match and are therefore ruled out of the first game from the Top 6 and Bottom 6. On the other hand, Ulises Arias of Marsaxlokk was banned for three matches.

In the BOV Challenge League, Salam Kojo Mawuena (Swieqi) was handed a three-match ban, Mattia Galliano (St. Andrews) was suspended for two matches while Claudio Lazaro (Mgarr), Fredrick Tabone (St. Andrews), Matthew Spiteri (Swieqi) and Glen Mifsud (Zebbug) were banned for one match.
