Valletta secured a spot in the Malta FA Jubilee Cup quarter-finals after defeating Mgarr United 4-0 at the Victor Tedesco Stadium on Friday.
Yuri put the Citizens ahead on 23 minutes and three minutes from the end of the first half, Andrea Zammit converted a penalty. Thaylor extended the lead ten minutes in the second half and Jefferson scored the fourth goal on 75 minutes.
In the next round, Valletta will be facing Floriana or Hamrun Spartans who will play the last match from the Round of 16 on Sunday.
