Hibernians registered their first win in the Bottom 6 of the YoHealth Malta Premier Opening Round as they defeated neighbours Tarxien Rainbows 1-0 at the Victor Tedesco Stadium on Friday.

A win thanks to which they are now sure of avoiding the bottom two places. Tarxien, on the other hand, remain anchored at the bottom of the table with Naxxar Lions. 

Cleiton scored the all-important goal twelve minutes in the second half.
