The Malta FA would like to announce that it has launched a new music video in collaboration with Musea Orchestra to wrap up the association’s historic 125th anniversary.
Musea Orchestra is a full-service provider in the music sector that draws on its deep expertise and refined craftsmanship, specialising in delivering meticulous and personalised music solutions to support creators and institutions across different sectors.
The collaboration between the Malta FA and Musea Orchestra kicked off earlier this month with a social media campaign that saw it promote the music video, titled ‘Stronger as One’. The song played in the music video is an orchestrated version of a motivational song, ‘Hall of Fame’, that was originally released by Irish pop rock band The Script, which helps evoke that same emotion that is shown on the football pitch and to always persevere when pursuing one’s goals.
The video captures the way that football and music are united through dedication, passion, and a constant strive for improvement, despite being two disciplines from two completely different worlds.
In the video, the talented 30-person orchestra fills the National Stadium with vibrant music, while a team of Malta National Team all-stars take to the pitch for a one-time, commemorative performance.
Commenting on the collaboration, Malta FA President Bjorn Vassallo stated: “This collaboration, on the Malta FA’s 125th anniversary, highlights the brilliance and creativity of the Maestro through the orchestra, as well as the talent we have within our national teams, which represent our country and the whole nation.”
“It is a fact that the synergy and enthusiasm of the orchestra, together with the pride of our national teams, lead to the delight of the Maltese population. Therefore, it is of great satisfaction for us that we have collaborated with Musea Orchestra on this project,” he affirmed.
On his part, Musea Orchestra Conductor and Orchestrator Maestro Matthew Bugeja remarked: “It is a genuine honour to collaborate with Malta’s national football teams on a project that highlights the shared values of excellence that bind sport and music.”
“In both fields, success is built on discipline, teamwork, and a deep respect for the craft and each other. Conducting Musea Orchestra on the National Stadium’s turf, with the national teams, meant fulfilling a dream,” he continued.
“I commend the leadership of the Malta Football Association for its forward-thinking approach and for recognising the impact of bringing artistic expression and national sport into a unified narrative. Our orchestra is honoured to contribute to such an innovative and nationally significant initiative, celebrating universal values,” he added.
