Inter defeated Hibernians 12-0 in a friendly match at the Tony Bezzina Stadium on Tuesday.

Inter, who compete in the Serie A Women, Italy’s top female football championship, are currently in Malta for a training camp which is being co-ordinated by Qmedia Limited.

Marie Detruyer put the Nerazzurri ahead on 19 minutes and ten minutes later, Haley Bugeja converted a penalty to double the score. Masa Tomasevic extended the lead two minutes later and Lima Magull made it 4-0 on 35 minutes. Towards the end of the first half, Inter scored three goals thanks to Elisa Bartoli on 44 minutes and Haley Bugeja on 45 minutes and one minute in added time.

Elisa Polli scored the eighth goal five minutes in the second half and goals by Martina Tomaselli on 65 minutes, Benedetta Glionna on 71 minutes and Henrietta Csiszar on 74 minutes extended the lead further with Polli adding another on 75 minutes.
