Gżira United Head Coach Darren Abdilla has been voted the VBET Coach of the Month for December.

He was one of only two coaches — the other being Floriana’s Head Coach — to win both matches played during December, in Match Weeks 13 and 14.

Under Coach Darren’s guidance in December, Gżira United secured a 3-1 victory over Naxxar Lions and a 2-1 win against Tarxien Rainbows.

The VBET Coach of the Month trophy was presented to Darren Abdilla on Wednesday by Adam Calleja, Business Development Director for SoftConstruct Malta.

Coach Darren Abdilla is the first Coach to win this award with two different clubs, having claimed the same honour twice last season while in charge of Floriana.
