Ħamrun Spartans keeper Henry Bonello has been selected as the LifeStar Insurance Most Valuable Player for the month of January.

In a hectic month of action, Henry, who is enjoying a formidable season overall, started the year 2026 in playing a crucial role for Ħamrun Spartans in their objective successfully executed in winning the Opening Round.

He delivered outstanding performances also managing to keep clean sheets in game changing January wins for his side, against Floriana (2-0) and Sliema Wanderers (1-0).

The January MVP trophy was presented to Henry Bonello before Friday’s late kickoff between Ħamrun Spartans and Żabbar St. Patrick, by LifeStar Insurance Head of Sales Chris Chetcuti.
