Five players were handed a one-match ban by the Malta FA Disciplinary Commissioner following the weekend’s matches from the YoHealth Malta Premier.
Alessandro Coppola (Birkirkara), Juan Carlos Corbalan (Marsaxlokk), Marcelo Santos and Murilo Freire (Sliema) and Miguel D’Alessandro (Tarxien) were banned for one match while Sliema officials Alex Muscat and Dylan Cuschieri Delorenzo were banned for two matches and one match respectively.
In the BOV Challenge League, Juan Bolanos (Birzebbuga) was suspended for two matches while Kyle Muscat (Sirens) and Gianluca Bugeja (Marsa) were suspended for one match.
Pieta’ official Sheldon Grech was banned for one month, Marsa official Joseph Xuereb was suspended for six matches, Sirens official David Muscat was suspended for four matches while Birzebbuga official Mark Alan Demarco and Sirens official Paul Gauci were suspended for two matches.
In the BOV Amateur League I, Dale Joseph Ellul (Attard) was suspended for two matches while Tejumola Ebenezer Ayorinde (Attard), Clayton Giordimaina (Lija), Nathan Frendo (Luqa), Ismael Borg (Mellieha), Kieran Paul Fenech (Qormi), Krassimir Zammit (Qrendi) and Francesco Gusman (Xghajra) were all banned for one match.
Attard official Christopher Micallef, Lija official Colin Ciantar and Victoria official Mark Grima were suspended for two matches.
Jamiu Temilola Hassan (Marsaskala) was banned for one match in the BOV Amateur League II.
