Valletta secured a Top 6 spot thanks to a 1-1 draw with Marsaxlokk in a match from teh YoHealth Malta Premier Closing Round league phase at the National Stadium on Saturday.

The Citizens join Gzira United in fifth place on 17 points, one behind Naxxar Lions and two behind Marsaxlokk who had already secured a Top 6 finish last week.

Following a goalless first half, Ulises Arias put Marsaxlokk ahead eight minutes in the second half but Andrea Zammit equaliser two minutes later.
