Kalkara United crowned BOV Amateur League II champions

Kalkara United were crowned champions of the BOV Amateur League II after the 4-0 win over Ghaxaq at the Victor Tedesco Stadium on Saturday.

Miguel Perez put Kalkara ahead on 15 minutes. Mario Jude Dominicius doubled the score on 69 minutes and Aaron Hili converted a penalty on 85 minutes to make it 3-0. Ryan Sammut added another one minute from time.

After the game, Kalkara were presented with the trophy by Malta FA Vice President Trustin Farrugia Cann and BOV Chief Operations Officer Ernest Agius. 

Meanwhile at the Sirens Stadium, St. George’s defeated Siggiewi 3-1. Jaden Camilleri put the Saints ahead on 19 minutes and then doubled the score nine minutes in the second half.  Sebastian Pedromo scored a third goal on 77 minutes with Edward Bugeja pulling one back on the 90th. 

In another match at the Sirens Stadium, a goal by Dale Valletta on 36 minutes handed Marsaskala a narrow win over Santa Venera Lightnings.
