Hibernians secured their Malta Premier status as they defeated Mosta 2-0 in a match from the YoHealth Malta Premier Closing Round Bottom 6 at the Tony Bezzina Stadium on Friday.

A win which put Andrei Agius’ side on 16 points, four ahead of Tarxien, five ahead of Zabbar and seven ahead of Mosta. Mosta therefore remain at the bottom of the table and are now the team most at risk of ending at the bottom of the table.

Miullen was the hero for Hibernians as he put them ahead with a goal on 19 minutes and doubled the score eight minutes in the second half.
