Malta to wear new Adidas kits thanks to UEFA Kit Assistance Scheme

Ten European national teams from across Europe, including Malta, will take to the pitch in newly designed kits created by adidas, the new supplier for the UEFA Kit Assistance Scheme.

Established in 2007, the scheme provides match and training wear to small and medium-sized national associations, ensuring their teams can appear in high-quality, bespoke kits that reflect their footballing culture and history.

For the next two seasons, select national teams from Andorra, Belarus, Cyprus, Faroe Islands, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Liechtenstein, North Macedonia, Malta and San Marino will each wear unique adidas designs, each developed in close collaboration with the respective association.

The UEFA Kit Assistance Scheme plays a key role in supporting national associations, funding access to high-performance apparel tailored to their needs.

adidas were chosen following a tender process which emphasised criteria such as product quality and cost, kit personalisation and experience of successfully delivering similar projects.

National associations that are part of the Kit Assistance Scheme benefit from adidas’ exclusive Locker Room design service, offering a wide variety of solutions for designing and ordering customised team wear.
