Tuğberk Tanrıvermiş has been appointed as the new Head Coach of Hibernians FC. He replaces Andrei Agius who took over from Branko Nisevic late last season.
Tanrıvermiş, who hails from Turkey, started his career as a coach within the youth sector of Galatasaray and following a spell with Denizlispor, working within their youth sector, re-joined Galatasaray where he also had three spells as assistant coach to the senior team under Jan Olde Riekerink, Fatih Terim and Igor Tudor. He then moved to Italy, spending three years at Roma and one year at Spezia, working within the youth sector of these two clubs.
His first experience in senior football was with SKN St. Polten in Austria. Later he had a short spell with NK Maribor in Slovenia and another with Schwarz-Weiß Bregenz in Austria.
