Sliema Beach Soccer have reached the final of the Women’s Beach Soccer Championship after defeating Parr Mela Rockets Beach Soccer 7-6.

As the score suggests, it was a highly balanced and closely contested encounter, which even required extra time to determine the winners after the sides were locked at 6-6 at the end of regular time.

Earlier, the same Sliema side had secured a convincing 14-2 victory over Skill and Passion to book their place in this stage of the competition.

Sliema will now face Birkirkara Beach Soccer in the final, which will be played next Monday at 7:15pm at Pretty Bay in Birżebbuġa.
