Ħamrun Spartans FC launched “Progetto Italia”, a new international twinning initiative that will connect our club with a wide network of Italian and European football organisations.

This project will run throughout 2026 and 2027, bringing coaching exchanges, youth development programmes, technical workshops and cultural activities — many of which will take place at the Victor Tedesco Stadium.
A delegation will be in Malta this week for meetings with Club CEO Marcel Bonnici to finalise the programme.

Through this initiative, Ħamrun Spartans will be twinned with clubs from across Italy’s major regions — including Calabria, Sicilia, Campania, Toscana, Emilia‑Romagna, Lazio, Piemonte, Lombardia, Abruzzo, Marche, Puglia and Veneto — as well as partner clubs from Spain, Slovenia and Montenegro.
