Floriana secured the services of thirty year old Moroccan defender Yassine Jbira.

Jbira started his career at Academie Mohammed VI de Football and following a spell with UD Almeria in Spain, returned to Morocco where he played for FUS Rabat Espoirs, Olympique Khouribga, Moghreb Atlético Tétouan and COD Meknès before joining Al-Ettifaq Club in Bahrain earlier this year. 

The Greens, who had confirmed Daniel Portela as coach, had earlier signed Paul Mbong, Gaston Manuel Romano, Ange Curtis N Dri, Amar Drina, Tomislav Gudelj, Robert Muric and Kauan. Gulherme Cioletti, Dunstan Vella, Zach Scerri and Carlo Zammit Lonardelli agreed new deals with the club while Aleandro Garzia, Jake Grech and Charles M’Mombwa moved elsewhere.
