Floriana were eliminated from the UEFA Conference League as they saw hosts Drita come from behind to beat them 2-1 after extra-time in the second leg of the second qualifying round at the Stadiumi Fadil Vokrri in Pristina, Kosovo on Tuesday.

The champions of Kosovo therefore qualify with a 3-2 aggregate score to set up a third qualifying round clash with Tre Fiori of San Marino.

Ironically, the Greens were a better side for over an hour, taking a well-deserved lead but Drita notched a late equaliser to force extra-time and forged ahead early in the first half of extra-time.

Floriana managed to take the lead five minutes from the end of the first half when Fede Varela served Paul Mbong whou rounded two players before beating goalkeeper Maloku in the bottom left corner with a shot from outside the area.

Drita equalised three minutes from time when Raddy Ovouka concluded a great move on the left flank, serving Jorgo Pellumbi who slotted the ball past goalkeeper Guilherme Cioletti from close range. 

The match went into extra time and hardly thirty seconds in extra time, Drita made it 2-1 thanks to another good move by Ovouka from the left, in an attempt to anticipate Manaj, Kauan deflected the ball past Cioletti for an own goal.
