Sliema Wanderers secured the services of twenty eight year old forward Nigel Benjamin Robertha.

Robertha, who holds a dual passport of the Netherlands and Curacao, played for EBOH and Feyonoord/Excelsior at youth level before joining SC Cambuur. He then moved to Bulgaria to join Levski Sofia. He then moved to DC United in the USA and later Kalba FC in the UAE. More recently, he played for AEL Limassol in Cyprus and FK Spartak Subotica in Serbia.

The Wanderers had earlier appointed Branko Nisevic as their new coach and signed Henry Bonello, Teddy Teuma, Alex Satariano Diego Camara and Brian Gambarte.
