Birkirkara secured the services of thirty two year old French forward Louis Pahama.
Pahama played for Cavigal Nice, OGC Nice, AS Monaco, Stade Laurentin and Villemomble in France, SV Linx in Germany, Condeixa in Portugal and following another spell in France with AS Furiani, moved to Martos CD in Spain. Later, he played for Tukums in Latvia, SC Toulon and Hyeres FC, AS Monaco, RC Grasse in France, Dunav in Bulgaria, Diyala in Iraq and Spartak Varna in Bulgaria before moving to Malta last January to join Naxxar Lions.
The Stripes, who have confirmed Paul Zammit as coach, had earlier announced the signing of Rashed Al-Tumi, Zach Muscat, Alenadro Garzia, Jake Vassallo, Shaft Brewer, Frazan, Aleksandar Djordjevic, Amarildo, JP Iseppe, Kadu, Yago and Jefferson Vinicius and confirmed that Miguel Angel Martinez, Macula, Shaun Dimech, Leandro Lacunza, Alessandro Coppola, Manuel Morello, Fran Lopez, Luis Cordova, Roni Santos, Geoffrey Acheampong, Donovan Makoma, Sebastian Viveros, Jacques Bayo and Jere Vrcic left the club or were released. Shelom Magri and Nathan Cross were loaned to other clubs.
