Mgarr United were crowned champions of the Assikura Women’s League after a 4-1 win over Hibernians in the final match.

Mgarr were already declared champions a few weeks ago. They also made sure of ending the league campaign unbeaten, winning seventeen matches, dropping their only points in three draws.

The trophy was presented to Mgarr captain Abigail Camilleri by Malta FA Vice President Ing. Trustin Farrugia Cann and Assikura Insurance Brokers Ltd Managing Director Mr Andrew Grech.
