Eleven Malta Premier players suspended

Eleven players were suspended by the Malta FA Disciplinary Commissioner following match day 28 of the YoHealth Malta Premier.

Zachary Brincat (Mosta) was banned for four matches, Abdelrahman Kuku (Tarxien) was banned for three while Deacon Abela (Gzira), Emerson Marcelina (Hamrun), Joseph MInala (Marsaxlokk), Louis Pahama (Naxxar), Geoffrey Acheampong and Kemar Reid (Birkirkara), Kurt Zammit and Simon Zibo (Mosta) and Erico Junior (Tarxien) were all handed a one-match ban.

Marsaxlokk official Saviour Bonnici was banned for one match.

In the BOV Challenge League, Kurt Bondin (Melita), Elizeu (St. Andrews), Bjorn Buhagiar (Gudja) and Matthias Bugeja (Marsa) were suspended for on a match.

In the BOV Amateur League I, Slaven Micallef (Mellieha) was banned for two matches while Luca Martinelli (Attard), Eman Camilleri, Kieran Paul Fenech and Albert Murdolo (Qormi), Jean Paul Attard, Myron Micallef and Ricardo Nahuel Velasquez (San Gwann), Miguel Aquilina, Aidan Camilleri and Andy Gilson (Zejtun) were all suspended for one match.

On the other hand, in the BOV Amateur League II, Nichail Muscat (Mdina) was banned for five matches, Jake Sciberras (Mdina) and Michael Theuma (Sta. Venera) for three, Giovanni Galea and Jacob Chircop St John (Mdina) and Kurt Vella (St. George’s) for two while Clive Fenech (Ghaxaq), Aidan Azzopardi and Zachary Tanti (Rabat), Jeffrey Chetcuti and Jordi Farrugia (Sta. Venera) were all banned for one match.

Mdina official Richard Deschrijver was banned for ten matches while another two Mdina officials Marco Buttigieg and Gianluca Theuma were banned for four matches.
