Hibernians secured the services of twenty eight year old Malta international winger Joseph Mbong.

A product of Hibernians, Mbong made his Premier League debut for the Paolites in 2014/15. He had a short spell with NK Inter Zapresic in Croatia in the latter part of season 2016/17. Mbong joined Hamrun in summer 2020 but was loaned to Kiryat Shmona in summer 2022 but returned to Hamrun in January 2023.

Tuğberk Tanrıvermiş has been appointed as the new Head Coach of Hibernians FC. He replaces Andrei Agius who took over from Branko Nisevic late last season.
