Birzebbuga St. Peter’s confirmed the signing of twenty four year old midfielder Shaun Dimech.

A product of Valletta, Dimech made his Premier League debut when he was still a fifteen year old in February 2017. In June 2024, Dimech joined Borac Banja Luka in Bosnia Herzegovina but a few weeks later, returned to Malta to join Birkirkara before making an official first appearance for the Bosnian club.

The newly-promoted side have confirmed Edgar Degabriele as their coach and had earlier announced the signing of Yuri Messias. Alex Bruno, Miguel Azzopardi, Jacob Walker, Juan Bolanos, Zachary Cassar, Matthew Xuereb, Hubert Vella Genovese, Daniel Zerafa and goalkeeper Julian Azzopardi were confirmed while Charles Chibueke, William James England, Duvan Mosquera, Jamie Scerri, Chris Baker, Joey Reno Vella, Leo Agius, Randall Vella, Paul Lapira and goalkeeper James Pisani were not retained.
