Malta Under-21 National Team Coach Davide Mazzotta has named a 24-player final squad for the upcoming matches from the 2027 UEFA European U21 Championship Qualifiers.
This comes after Mazzotta had initially named a 30-player provisional squad.
Throughout the September-October international window, the Malta U21 National Team will play three matches, and hence concluding its qualifying campaign in Group F.
The first match is against Northern Ireland on 26th September 2026 at the Centenary Stadium, with kick-off at 19:00hrs.
Following that, Malta will be facing off against European heavyweights Germany on 30th September 2026, also at the Centenary Stadium. While the match was initially set to kick off at 19:00hrs, it has now been moved forward to 18:00hrs.

Malta’s 2027 UEFA European U21 Championship Qualifying campaign will come to a close on 6th October 2026 with an away match against Latvia. The encounter will be held at the Daugava Stadium in Riga, with kick-off at 18:00hrs.
All three matches will be broadcast live on TVMSport+.
Through these three matches, Mazzotta’s team will continue to gain further international experience against high-quality opposition, with the aim of closing out the qualifying campaign with positive performances both home and away.
