IZIBET Amateur League champions Mgarr United won the double after defeating Kirkop United 3-2 after extra-time in the final of the National Amateur Cup at the Centenary Stadium on Sunday.
Giovanni Galea put Kirkop ahead on the 20th but Christian Saint Ebisindor equalised on the 58th. Nine minutes later, Ebisindor handed Mgarr the lead but Giovanni Galea scored again on the 78th to force extra-time. Four minutes in extra-time, Christian Saint Ebisindor made it 3-2 for Mgarr.
