Hibernians issued another statement in which they pointed out that they had never claimed that coach Mark Miller had already signed for Valletta FC.
The club said that the statement released on Tuesday reflected what they were told by Mark Miller in a meeting with the President and the General Manager, that is that after weeks of negotiations he had with the President of Valletta FC, he decided to accept the new challenge being offered by the Citizens.

Hibernians issued a statement announcing that following lengthy negotiations, coach Mark Miller informed the club that, after being approached by Valletta FC a few weeks ago, he was not going to renew his contract with Hibernians and that he was accepting the offer by the Citizens.
Second Division side Mellieha terminated the contract of Brazilian striker Tiago Loquete following an urgent meeting of the committee which discussed the player’s behaviour during the BOV Second Division game against Gudja United.
Malta international striker Daniel Bogdanvic joined Notts County on loan until the end of the season.
Floriana FC appointed Joe Brincat as their new coach. Brincat, who replaces Michael Woods who handed his resignation last week, signs a contract until the end of the season.
