Four Premier League players suspended

Four Premier League players were handed a one-match ban following Saturday’s matches from the BOV Premier League.

The four players are Sliema Wanderers duo Alex Muscat and Ryan Fenech, Hibernians defender Edward Herrera and Qormi’s Stephen Wellman.

Muscat and Fenech are ruled out of Sliema’s game against Birkirkara. Herrera and Wellman will be missing the game Hibernians vs Qormi.

In Division 1, Morgan Onuorah (Balzan) and Peter Pullicino (Marsaxlokk) were banned for one match while Melita coach Martin Gregory was suspended for two matches.

Jonathan Buttigieg was banned for two matches in Division 2 while Matthew Aquilina (Kirkop) was suspended for one match in Division 3.

Gudja United players Malcolm Bugeja and Emerson Vella were banned for one game in the Youth League.
