One thousand and five hundred boys and girls from various schools took part in a Futsal Festival which was organised by the Sport Promotion Unit, within the Kunsill Malti g?all-iSport, together with the Malta Football Association. The festival was held over a number of months, coming to an end on Wednesday.

Parliamentary Secretary for Youth and Sport Clyde Puli explained how such activities which are being organised on a regular basis by the Kunsill Malti g?all-iSport are giving school children more opportunity to take part in physical activities and sport.

A total of seven sport festivals were held for a total of 2,900 students. These festivals focussed on football athletics, basketball, gymnastics, handball, rugby and volleyball.
