Darik Mohammed Abdalla from Sudan joined Third Division club Mtarfa FC.

Abdalla is the first foreigner to register with the club although the Yellows had earlier registered Joseph M. Munyao from Kenya. However the latter holds dual citizenship and was therefore registered as a Maltese player.

During his trial, Darik Mohammed Abdalla proved himself to be the right player to support Omar Smeir, Mario Stivala, Cleaven Mizzi and Arvin Micallef in the attack. He was attracting the interest of other clubs this summer.

This summer, Mtarfa registered Chris Grima from Msida, Claude Bonanno from Zebbug Rangers, Jonathan Muscat from Mgarr United and Roderick Sammut from Rabat Ajax.
