After losing their last four games, Swieqi United returned to winning ways in the Section A of the BOV Third Division as they defeated Qrendi 4-0.

In another match, Siggiewi moved back on top after defeating Mtarfa 2-0. Siggiewi lead the way with 25 points, one ahead of Sta. Venera Lightnings who however have a game in hand.

In Section B on Friday, Gharghur regained the top spot thanks to a comfortable 7-0 win over Gozo FC. In another match, Fgura United and Marsa shared the spoils in a 2-2 draw.
